General information

The ministry at Zion is centered on God’s Word as our guide to everything we do. We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. Therefore one of the primary focuses of the ministry at Zion is Bible Study and Biblical (some call it exegetical) teaching in the sermons. We believe that God builds our faith, protects our faith and prepares us for sharing our faith through the power of the Holy Spirit and knowing God's Word through Bible Study.

But, Zion is more than that. It is a foundational church that seeks to bring glory to God by equipping every member, young and old, for a life of service to Him. That is why we are a “family integrated” congregation. We want to partner with the parents in our congregation in helping their children to grow in their faith. One of the best ways for children to grow and learn is to watch their parent’s model prayer, worship and Bible Study. As a result, our worship, prayer and Bible Study times are designed for the whole the family to participate in together.

Finally, Zion is outreach oriented. We have been given the command to, “go and make disciples of all nations” by our Savior. We aren’t doing this by turning our worship services into entertainment or watering down the message of the Bible. Rather, we try to incorporate the Bible into everything that we do as we reach out into the community through special events like our Christmas drive-thru, topical seminaries, child care center and ministry to those in need.
