Bookstore At Fitger's

It's a beautiful day in the Twin Ports and you're out and about along the Lakewalk when you stop up to the Fitger's Complex to have a great meal, visit a wonderful local shop, or plan a night at the historic hotel. As you're wandering the halls, you remember that there's a wonderful bookstore on the first level!
You stroll slowly past the display windows to get a good sense of what's new and being celebrated. You come in, look briefly at the candy selection (ZOTS! Chocolates, Turkish Taffy, oh my!), decide to come back to that when you go. You take a step into the Children's room - you'd forgotten how many great toys there are here! Check out that puppet!
And the books - there are classics, chapter books, books by local authors (with signed copies!), books about the area, reference books - so many choices!
After picking a couple (because that entitles you to a few pieces of Quartermania candy as well), you come back into the center room and look at fiction, Young Adult and Regional titles. Some very great selections! Oh- what's this? Many of the fiction titles are 15% off! Your pile grows a little bigger when you ask the friendly staff members for a suggestion and they come up with 20 titles off the top of their heads!
One or two of the titles you were looking for were not in stock, so you placed an order - assured in the knowledge that the book would be in within a week or so and you'd get a call when it came in.
Then you head into the non-fiction room- again the selection stands out. Best-sellers on hot topics, great cook books, sports, humor, crafts, nature guides - so many perfect gifts and must-reads! And, thinking of gifts - there is quite a selection of cards as well! No time like the present - plan ahead.
Calendars, games, souvenirs for the next time you want a memento for yourself or a loved one (or just an acquaintance!).
As you check out, you make a mental list of what to pick up next time as well as note what authors are coming in next week (oooh, some good ones!).
It's been another good visit to The Bookstore at Fitger's and you remember to tell all your friends and family to visit there the next time they need a book or a gift!
