Hickory Corners Homestead Company Information
General information
The Homestead is situated on two acres with a focus on healthy living and self sufficiency.
It has a "postage stamp" orchard consisting of over a dozen fruit trees. The land grows strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, four colors of raspberries (red, yellow, black & purple), and grapes. Pecan, Hickory and Walnut trees are planted along with Maple trees for syrup.
In the Spring a 1/4 acre is used for a vegetable garden. Occasionally a smaller garden is also grown.
Livestock on the Homestead consists of Registered Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats, Carniolan honey bees, and eggs from both Chicken and Duck.
Hickory Corners Homestead also features a perennial herb garden and the beginnings of a vineyard.
