General information

I started out in 1973 digging stones in the Arizona desert. I Learned to cut and polish the stones i found. In 1975 i was selling my stones at a Tucson 4th Ave Street Fair next to a Jeweler Neil Abala. In exchange for some of my cut stones, Neil taught me to make my 1st ring.That was the only lesson I have had to this date, Self Taught . I took off May of 1975 Hitch Hiking to San Francisco where I moved into a victorian house beside golden Gate park with some friends and applied for my street artist license .My 1st show case was a volkswagen windshield I pulled out of a dumpster. 40 years later I am still doing street fairs all around the country. I have a studio in Boulder ,CO as well as a winter studio in Delray Beach ,FL. Tonya Goodwin has been my studio assistant for over 20+ years. Tom Finneran is my personal friend and my professional stone cutter, skillfully cutting many of my stone as well as all my porcelain plates.
