F&D International, LLC was founded by Teri Ficken in 2001 to meet the growing demand for project leadership on large-scale capital construction projects in the United States and around the world. Over the past decade the company has grown exponentially providing services in all aspects of project management including architecture, engineering, planning and consulting to a broad range of public and private clients.

We are headquartered in Boulder, Colorado with satellite offices across the Western United States. With hundreds of projects valuing over $5 billion dollars, our firm brings unprecedented experience and knowledge in all aspects of project management, owner's representation, architectural planning & design, engineering, construction management and commissioning. The F&D team is comprised of highly skilled project managers, architects, engineers and planners with a diverse mix of professional disciplines which enables us to cover all facets of a project with knowledge, experience and expertise. From the inception of a project through its daily project management, our services are tailored to your specific needs so that you can make informed decisions at all stages of your project development.

Our team has a strong client focus which allows us the opportunity to establish a solid working relationship and provide a well-coordinated, finished project for our clients. We have been providing project management and A&E services for over a decade. In that time, we have developed a unique understanding of working within defined budgetary constraints, maximizing the value our team, utilizing the project owner’s resources, designing for the long-term and the importance of developing innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients. We operate as a transparent, approachable and responsive team to ensure we are always in-step with your needs. Our work is developed within a collaborative atmosphere with vigorous exploration of client goals is coupled with a detailed examination of their functional needs.

The F&D team has strong commitment to sustainable design and we are constantly exploring sustainable strategies that become an intrinsic part of the overall design – many things work conceptually, but execution success starts with quality documents. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. Our accredited professionals have proven experience helping our clients navigate successfully through the LEED certification process. F&D is fully aware of the growing concerns regarding the availability of natural resources and the need to live and work in a healthy environment.
