EXPERIENCE: Rex began his 40-plus year career in the real estate industry as a Certified Public Accountant.

As a CPA, Rex gained real estate experience as the Office Managing Partner of an international firm of Certified Public Accountants specializing in real estate. Rex subsequently held the position of corporate officer for a publicly-traded New York Stock Exchange listed national homebuilder.

In 1990, Rex purchased and opened a RE/MAX franchise in Scottsdale AZ which he later sold. Today, the franchise is the largest in the Southwest United States.

Returning to his entrepreneurial-roots, Rex worked with a small real estate developer before starting his own business consulting practice. He was soon asked to join one of his start-up clients as shareholder and VP of Business Strategies. Rex guided the $100-Million sale of this Internet company to AOL America Online.

GIVING BACK: It was Mahatma Gandhi that said "Be the change that you wish for the world". Embracing this thought, Rex volunteered with Moving To End Sexual Assault – the rape crisis center and telephone hotline for Boulder County. After completing an intensive training course, Rex volunteered as a Rape Crisis Hotline telephone counselor for over a year. He continued his training and additionally volunteered as a Sexual Violence Prevention Educator.

Rex has made over 40-presentations to over 1,000 High School and Middle School students as well as a presentation at the University of Colorado Boulder. As the result of his volunteer work, Rex received the Man of the Year Special Merit Award from the Boulder Chapter of the National Federal of Business and Professional Women.
