Kristi Browning NNP

General information

Kristi Browning is a board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNPBC). She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Purdue University in Lafayette, IN. She later attended Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) where she received her Master's degree as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner from Indiana University School of Nursing. Kristi initially worked in Louisville, KY until she moved to Indianapolis in 2002. She started working at St. Vincent Hospital's NICU at that time as an RN and transitioned to the role of NNP after completing her Master's Degree in 2008. Kristi is certified in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) an a member of several Neonatal Nursing Organizations: ANN, NANN, NANNP, and CIANN. Kristi is involved in Quality Improvement, Neurodevelopmental Care, NAVA, Education and PICC insertion. She is a preceptor for new NNP employees and is a clinical preceptor for students in the NNP program at the University of Indianapolis. Kristi enjoys being able to care for babies and their families in the NICU.
