General information
Bargains Galore Thrift Store began in 1994 on a shoestring budget and with a lot of prayer. Non-profit status was procured, a store front was found, a name was chosen, and local church members were asked for donations. Thus, our small thrift store was born. That small store doubled, then tripled in size. In 2010, our lease was up and we knew a bigger store was needed. As a result, we moved 2 blocks south to a larger facility.
Bargains Galore proceeds go to Mount Vernon Christian School for the tuition assistance program and we still depend on volunteer labor.
