General information

My name is Frank Moniz and I am both the studio owner and instructor. I am offering lessons on guitar, bass and saxophone. I have a Bachelor of Music degree and have been teaching privately for a decade now. I have worked in the music industry as a performer for nearly twenty years and continue to play with several bands from Rhode Island such as The Agents, Soulshot and Boo City.

I enjoy what I do and love to see students learn to play an instrument. I believe learning to play should be fun, but also academic. I strive to build the lessons around the student's goals and interests and never teach the same way for everyone. Over the years I have come to learn that every student is different and that what works for one may not be the best for another.

All levels and styles are welcome! I love all music but some of my favorites include blues, rock, reggae, world, hip hop, classic rock, r&b, funk and jazz.
