General information

John is a trial lawyer and litigator. In his first trial as lead attorney, he has secured a verdict for his client following a five-day jury trial in a disputed liability auto accident case. Most recently, John has secured a defense verdict on behalf of his client against a major bank following a bench trial in a debt collection case.

In 2016, John was selected as a member of The National Advocates Top 100 Lawyers. This is the second year in a row that John has been selected to The National Advocates Top 100 Lawyers list.

Prior to becoming an attorney, John worked full time as a Staff Software Engineer during the day while attending law school at night. During law school, he was on the Dean’s List, received an award for Academic Excellence, and was a Staff Editor of the Lincoln Law Review. John was also a member of the William Ingram as well as the Congressman Don Edwards Inns of Court.

After graduating from law school, John worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Arthur S. Weissbrodt, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of California. Thereafter, John started his own law firm where he primarily practices in personal injury, family law, consumer bankruptcy, debt collection defenses, and estate planning. John's top priority in obtaining justice, being an exceptional advocate for his clients, and making a difference in their lives has been his main driving force as an attorney.

In his early years, John enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps after high school. When representing a client, John always applies the core values he had learned from the Corps: integrity, commitment, and loyalty.

John is currently admitted to practice law before the courts for the State of California, the Federal District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of The National Advocates Top 100 Lawyers and Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association.
