Dorchester County Dog Control Company Information
General information
Dorchester Dog Control is a sub unit under the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office. It is commanded by 3 highly trained Animal Control Officers who cover 983 square miles. Dog Control is the primary and only unit agency/organization to investigate cruelties, neglect and impound stray animals in the county. Dog Control doesn't handle any stray cats nor adopt stray cats. We are also a dog adoption agency for the County. All adoptions are at 829 Fieldcrest Rd Cambridge. All adoption applicants must fill out an adoption form and go thru a background check to be considered as fur-ever parents. All adoptions are free upon approval. All dogs available for adoption are Spayed/Neutered and have receive all shots and test are good for 1 year and can be found on this page or our website.
