Zanshin Martial Arts

General information

As a non-profit organization, Zanshin Dojo is dedicated to providing all
members of the community with access to high quality martial arts and
self-defense instruction in a world class facility. Our individual rate of
$40 per month and our family rate of $70 per month are intentionally far
lower than typical martial arts programs in order to make exceptional
training available to everyone. Families in financial hardship can receive
waived tuition through work-study or scholarship, and children can obtain
uniforms through a dojo donation program. The traditional Japanese Martial
Arts serve as a foundation for teaching self-confidence and self-control as
well as social responsibility. Our students learn self-defense as they
increase their fitness and improve their ability to reach their goals in
life and contribute to their community. Students participate in an annual
outreach event in which they identify and help community members in need.
Instructors volunteer their time and passion in the hope that students will
one day become Zanshin instructors themselves and continue the tradition.
