Welcome to Strand’s Ski Shop, founded in 1934 by 3 time National Champion Ski Jumper, Strand Mikkelsen; Strand was also the founder of the Eastern Professional Ski Jumpers Association and a U.S. Skiing Hall of Fame member. A true pioneer in the sport of skiing. Strand’s is now owned and operated by his twin son’s, Leif and Roy. Leif concentrates on custom boot fitting, while Roy spends much of his time tuning and maintaining skis. For over 70 years skiers have greatly appreciated this family owned and operated full service ski shop
