About the studio:
The Hillerich Studio is the private studio of piano pedagogue, Chelsea Hillerich. Located just five miles from downtown Saratoga Springs, the studio provides a comfortable and inviting home environment for one-on-one learning. Lessons focus on promoting a love of music and music making, developing positive motivation and self-love, and fostering creativity and artistry at the piano.
About me:
Chelsea received her degree in music studies with a concentration in piano pedagogy from the Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam, where she studied under pianist François Germain. During her tenure at Crane, Chelsea earned the Susan Smykla Udell ’57 Scholarship in piano accompanying and the Class of ’53 Scholarship for adult learners pursuing careers in education. She also received the department of music studies scholar award and a certificate of merit for her academic excellence. In the summer of 2014, she was accepted into the Decoda/Skidmore Chamber Music Institute, where she studied with members of the world-renowned Decoda ensemble. In addition to her musical studies, Chelsea also holds a bachelor’s degree in sound design from the Savannah College Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia.
