General information

There is a balance between that which we want to hear and that which we don't. The first is the signal and the other is noise. In most all occupied spaces, there is the need to promote and enhance the signal as much as possible while attenuating or mitigating the noise as much as reasonable. Good acoustics is most certainly achievable provided the design elements are incorporated early with careful consideration to space planning and orientation, material selection, detailing, and a healthy dose of reasonable expectations.
