The Wathen Castanos legacy began with Grandfather Wathen’s love for remodeling homes in the 1930s. Sons Spalding, Ron, Jack and Richard Sr. inherited their Grandfather’s love and formed the successful Wathen Brothers development company in the early 1950s. For nearly 90 years, the Wathen name has represented excellence in residential development in the Central San Joaquin Valley.
Wathen Castanos Homes ownership transferred internally from Richard G. Wathen Jr. and Kevin J. Castanos, to family member Peter Castanos, and long-time employees, Joshua Peterson and Freddie Logue. Together they have taken the legacy and passion for building homes to a whole new level maintaining a tradition of excellence. Locations of where Wathen Castanos Homes is building beautiful communities includes Fresno, Visalia, Tulare, Lemoore, and in the Central Coast.
