The company was formed in 1984 by Robert & Mary Ludgate, we operated the business for the first six years as ERA Pocono Resorts Realty and after six years we dropped the franchise and have operated as an Independent Non- Franchise Real Estate Office to the present. After being open 6 years we put an addition to the building on Rte 940 due to the increased number of agents and the need for more conference rooms.
We were the first office in the area to market our business as a Vacation/Investment Real Estate office, primarily selling to people who were seeking to purchase a vacation home or an Investment home. From the day we open the office we not only sold homes and lots but we also rented homes to vacationers for weekends weekly monthly and seasonally. Pocono Resorts Realty has the largest inventory of Vacation Rental Homes in the northeast, we have our own proprietary software thus allowing us to market our landlords properties to a multitude of tenants thru out the northeast and further.
