Welcome to the Custer State Park Facebook Page. We are hopeful this online forum will become a place where visitors feel comfortable sharing information and experiences related to Custer State Park.

Our Expectations for Social Media:
While this is an open forum, we ask that you keep your comments and wall posts free from graphic, obscene, explicit, or racial content. Be considerate of others' opinions and do not submit comments that are abusive, hateful, or intended to defame anyone or any organization. If you do not comply with our request, your message will be removed.

We do not allow attempts to defame or defraud any financial, commercial, or non-governmental agency, nor do we allow comments that suggest or encourage illegal or inappropriate activity. Furthermore, external links do not constitute official endorsement on behalf of the State of South Dakota or the Game, Fish, and Park.

Comments, posts, or external links that do not contribute to the positive and constructive dialog and discussions about Custer State Park will be deleted. You participate at your own risk, taking personal responsibility for your comments, your username, and any information provided online.
Federal regulations prohibit advertising on government sponsored web pages. This includes the promotion or endorsement of any financial, commercial, or non-governmental agency. Statements or external links that drive viewers to commercial web sites are considered advertising. Such posts and/or links are subject to deletion. People who continue to post prohibited content and/or links may be subject to page participation restrictions and/or removal from the page. We reserve the right to determine whether the intention of a post is to advertise a commercial venture. Photographs: While the page is open for photo posting, we ask that you post no more than three of your favorite images. Photos should be of structures or scenery at Custer State Park, near Custer, South Dakota. The Facebook Page is not the location to share all of your family and vacation photos or to advertise your business. Posts containing photographs with watermarks identifying business names, logos, or websites will be hidden. Images with discreet watermarks involving only a personal name and copyright are permitted, (e.g. "©2012 John Smith"). Those posting inappropriate photos will be immediately banned from the Facebook Page. We reserve the right to hide or delete any photo from our timeline, if internal considerations and decisions warrant such removal.
