Additionally, he is an active member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and the Harry Phillips American Inn of Courts. His work has been recognized in the Cambridge Who’s Who directory. Russell formerly chaired the Criminal Law and Criminal Justice Committee of the Nashville Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Tennessee.
