General information
The Wausau Conservatory of Music, an independent non-profit school, opened its doors in 1981 with seven faculty members and 150 students. Today, the school has grown to 26 faculty members and is attended by over 800 students. In 1997 the school was updated to 19,000 square feet to provide teacher studios, rehearsal rooms and the Caroline Mark Concert Hall that hosts over 60 performances annually.
