There are three underlying constants found in the events of families gathering to eat, old friends catching up over coffee, and a tea party bridging the gap between students and professors. These commonalities are food and drink, the vessels that contain them, and the presence of people. It is for these occasions of coming together that I have a passion for creating quality, functional ceramic vessels. With my work, I want to enable and encourage these interactions to occur, and to make them more enriching for all involved. I want to continue seeking to push the boundaries of how clay can interlace lives.
