Yoho General Store Company Information
General information
1930s – Operated by the Yoho brothers.
1933 – A fire consumed the store.
1934 – The store was rebuilt and still stands on the corner of Hwy 43 and Tulip Rd.
2012 – CFC Properties purchased the Yoho General Store and made extensive renovations. Many of the original store fixtures, including the plank flooring, partial sections of the wood shelving, and the Florence Stove were saved and reinstalled in efforts to preserve the store’s history and heritage.
Today, the store offers a dining area serving deli-styled breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including the famous Yoho hand-scooped ice cream. Other goods, such as produce and necessity items are available, as well as 24/7 gasoline, making it an ideal one-stop location!
