Creative Expressions Florist and Deb's Anteeks began in 1997.Selling only Artificial and dried flowers in a 300 sq. ft. space where it currently exists. Not many months later, she moved into the front location. Long story short, with the added square footage ( over 2000)...Creative expressions went into the fresh floral business and has had huge success with that endeavor. Having always 'decorated' with antiques and collectibles, and having always been asked along the way by customers if things of such were for sale, A turn of events in my life made me realize that the timing was right to get into selling antiques and collectibles, hence, "Deb's Anteek's and Collectibles" was added to the name and inventory of the shop! I travel auctions 2,3 sometimes 4 times a week to find the treasures for the shop!
With the Interior Design background of mine, the shop has always had the look of home, rather than the typical floral/retail shop that is akin to most shops. Our shop has always decorated with old doors, old windows, old tables and buggies.... We have always used items that would evoke the feeling of being inside someone's home...Comments from customers range from "I wish I could move right in!"... to " There's no other shop like this around!"..."We had no idea It was this beautiful!"
We want people to come back, to anticipate their return visits..."what did she get new since we were there last!"...Not only is that inventory important to us, but our flower inventory is also....we always try to keep our cooler shelves full of beautiful arrangements and simple pick-up loose bouquets...one thing we are most known for is our cash and carry rose special ( 98% of the time) mixed color roses are only $16.99 dozen.... that's 12 roses WITH baby's breath and greens ( we don't charge extra for the baby's breath and greens)!!!!.....We tissue wrap that special and it looks lovely!.....We sell lots of those!
When it comes to Sympathy arrangements, you can certainly get them at any floral shop....however....should you decide to use Creative Expressions Florist, you will have made a wise choice for both value for your dollars spent and creative design beyond the "same-same" that other florists do.
