General information

Featherock, Inc., founded in 1943, is a third generation, family owned business supplying pumice in various forms for over 75 years. We sell pumice boulders in sizes ranging from 6" on up to 7', one-of-a-kind garden planters in 6 styles, veneer, gravel, and more. Featherock pumice was formed from the eruption of the Mono Craters in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains thousands of years ago. The resulting material is a stunning, naturally lightweight rock that comes in colors of silver-grey, charcoal, brindle, and buckskin. Pumice is easy to carve and manipulate, which allows us to create several different products with the same, versatile material. From planters, to gravel, to artistic carvings - Featherock has pumice for any project.
