General information

I am a self taught artist living in weird and wonderful Santa Cruz California. I am inspired by the simple, the strange, and the silent things. But, my paintings are bold, bright and boisterously fun. Some say bittersweet, some say lively. I say, I paint, life as I see it, warts, hope, love and all. It can seem sappy at times, or raw. What we are, we can only truly guess, but as an artist, I just try to grab a rail, and ride it as long as I can hold on, then it is gone. It is a fun ride....But not one without pits. Maybe I will never be rich, but my work brings me much joy, and the connections with people and their life stories, is kind of a treasure chest in my opinion. So, I paint on...Thanks.
