Santa Cruz Yacht Club

General information

The Mission of the Santa Cruz Yacht Club is to encourage and support yachting. We promote boat use by facilitating quality sailing competition through one-design, coastal and offshore racing. We will also encourage cruising in power and sailing yachts by hosting events which entice owners to participate. We maintain a clubhouse where members can gather socially, conduct the business of the club and have meetings related to yachting.

We educate our members through lectures, junior sail training, racing clinics, and other means so that they will become proficient in racing, seamanship, cruising under sail, power and regatta management. We contribute to the good of yachting by hosting regattas and community events, offering reciprocal privileges to members of other clubs and by providing support to worthy yachting endeavors.
