The Salem County Pumpkin Show festival has become a tradition for families and friends who gather each year to enjoy one of New Jersey’s most popular fall festivals. Always held on the second weekend of October, the Festival includes three- days of fun-filled contests, artists, craftsmen, home products, pumpkin pyramid, live entertainment, pumpkin tastes, wine, amusement rides, Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off, headless horsemen, scarecrows, Little Miss & Mister Pumpkin Pageant, costumed do parade, Boo Barn and so much more.
The South Jersey Pumpkin Show, now in its 11th year, was created out of hard work and the love of the fall harvest of pumpkins by New Jersey residents Kathy & Beau Wright, their son Anthony Lanzi, family and friends.
The South Jersey Pumpkin Show will be held at the Salem County Fairgrounds, Route 40, and Woodstown. The fairgrounds is located in the rich farmland of Salem County will be transformed into colorful displays of mums, pumpkins, gourds, scarecrows, autumn decorations and cornstalks.
