Charles R. Baesler Jr.

General information

Charles is a Member in Stoll Keenon Ogden's Lexington office and has been with the firm since 1994. He serves as chair of the firm's Immigration practice. He represents clients before the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Labor and US consulates overseas to obtain employment authorization for engineers, scientists, professors, doctors, business managers and equine workers. Charles has experience representing companies based outside of the United States to obtain investor visa status to facilitate direct investment and transfer of personnel to US markets. He also has experience in advising employers on compliance with federal laws against hiring undocumented workers. Charles is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Kentucky and American Bar associations. He is the past chair of the Midsouth Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. To give back to the community, he has volunteered at the Maxwell Street Legal Clinic and is on the board of directors of the Growing Together Preschool. Charles is also an Elder at the Second Presbyterian Church.
