Dee Simmons Interiors

General information

Nominated as a “Rising Star” by her peers at the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center in 2011, Delinah “Dee” Simmons, ASID and a NCIDQ certified designer, launched Dee Simmons Interiors, located on St. Simons Island in October 2012. Prior to moving to the Golden Isles, Dee worked on high-end golf and country clubs throughout the United States, including the Atlanta Country Club, Jupiter Hills Country Club and The Country Club of Florida. For the past nine years, Dee has worked with Lisa Torbett Interiors, and she became a partner in the firm in 2008. Frederica Clubhouse was the first project in which she and Lisa worked together.
Dee also enjoys the residential side of design, and her firm includes homes locally as well as in Atlanta, Lake Oconee, Palm Beach, Panama City, Boston, Seattle and San Francisco. The key to her success is getting to know each client’s personality and way of life. She is a firm believer in this practice, and as a result, she successfully designs homes that reflect her clients’ personal tastes and activities. Her love of creating custom furniture, lighting, fabrics, and rugs for her projects and clients ensures that each environment will be unique, whether the desired outcome is tranquil or vibrant.

This year Dee became a partner with Martin Nash in a showroom at the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (ADAC). Martin Nash is a 4000+ square foot high end showroom specializing in organic, modern and groovy interiors. The showroom represents furniture, lighting, fabrics, wallcovering, original artwork and one of a kind pieces.

Dee also launched a textural fabric line under her name Delinah Simmons that include velvets, mohairs and linens. Alongside her fabric line, Dee has a collection of vintage Emilio Pucci and Vera Neumann scarves that she has framed in shadowboxes and repurposed into beautiful pillows.
