David & Lisa Simard, licensed automobile appraisers, have been professionally involved in the antique/collector car business since 1984, and licensed vehicle appraisers based in Massachusetts since 1999. For over 30 years, “East Coast Custom,” with Dave at the helm, has turned out award winning restorations for clients from all parts of the USA. Dave’s restorations, featuring his renowned metal craftsmanship, have appeared on countless magazine covers, as well as in feature articles and guest appearances on television. Dave’s extensive knowledge of automobile construction and automotive history has given him the opportunity to consult, conduct seminars, and serve as judge at car shows in the US and Europe.

Dave is also member and president of the “Boston Area Roadsters” car club, long-time member of Tyrods Car Club and Antique Automobile Club of America, and has appeared on the NY City Hot Rod Episode of Monster Garage as part of the hot rod building team. A nationally-recognized hot rod builder, he has served as a judge at the first ever hot rod-class at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event on the west coast, and on the panel of judges that selected the county’s top 1932 Fords in Ford Motor Company’s 75th anniversary celebration of the 32 Ford.
