When Guiseppe Basile arrived in the United States in the early 1900s, it was his hope to create a family business that would endure into the following century. Today, with his great-grandchildren handling the daily operations of the company, his legacy has carried into a fourth generation.
In keeping with the traditions handed down by Giuseppe and Joseph, the Basile family continues to uphold Catania Spagna's reputation for quality and integrity as they provide a broad range of products in the retail, food service, bulk and private label sectors. With their ongoing efforts to respond to the needs of their valued customers, the Basile family is laying the groundwork for a fifth generation.
