60 years ago, Golin opened its doors in Chicago when our founder, Al Golin, made a cold call to an aspiring businessman with a couple of hamburger stands. That man was Ray Kroc, and his business, McDonald's, remains one of our agency's largest clients.
Since that day over half a century ago, Golin’s reputation has been one of an innovator and leader in progressive corporate and consumer communications.
What began as a small agency in Chicago in 1956 has grown into one of the world's largest public relations firms with 50 offices around the globe. In North America, we are supported by 12 offices coast to coast, along with a global network of 33 wholly owned offices and 24 affiliate offices.
