And so it was once upon a time when the multi award winning company temporary measure, grew tired of the bright lights of the big city and decided that the only sensible option was to grab its suitcase and pull on its wellies and run for the hills. All the way to Keswick in the Lake District...

Which is where we have been for the last ten years, peddling our extraordinarily interesting stories and beautifully whimsical things. From photographic canvases with original text, hand printed onto organic cotton, and warm-heartedly humorous family photograph greetings cards, to hand knitted accessories, toys and kits, and most recently our hugely
popular children’s books filled with illustrations and text to make you gasp in wonder and delight. Everything is available to commission from bespoke card ranges to having a story written especially for you or your company.

After eight years of fitting in designing and making around the running of a gallery and tearoom, we decided that it was about time to shut ourselves off in a studio of epic proportions and concentrate on what we do best for a while. And so this is where you find us today, using our decade of retail experience to bring together a collection of work that we are rather proud of and that is now available in high profile and exclusive retailers across the UK and internationally.
